It appears that the Catalina Council is hosting a “rootin’ tootin’” adventure at Double V Scout Ranch on February 17, 2024! They are looking for “Cub Scouts from the Ol’ Southwest ready to kick up some dust.” It promises to be a fun and laughter filled ol’ fashioned hoedown.”
“So, dust off your boots, shine up your spurs, and let’s make some unforgettable memories. Remember, the hootenanny kicks off on February 17, 2024, from 9 am to 1 pm. For just $7 a pop, you’ll get to enjoy archery, a bike program, helmet fitting, bike mechanics, and even meet some adorable mini donkeys! Plus, there’s stick horse racing and a climbing wall to conquer”, as they said.
